Sega bass fishing

Sega bass fishing is a fishing video game developed and published by Sega and published for Arcade, Dreamcast, Windows and Wii. Also known among some circles as Get Bass, Sega bass fishing is very easy to play through and has excellent graphics. The game is fully playable with the standard Dreamcast controller. The greatest advantage with Sega bass fishing is that it looks so realistic with amazing graphic capabilities. When compared to the other fishing games Sega bass fishing is easy to play and provides with some of the best graphics available in the market. For more realistic play you may also use the Sega fishing controller. The game has also been released in Wii mode this year.

Original mode is the most important game. Then there are other game play modes like arcade, practice, nature trip and original. You may create a player and enter into four levels of tournaments. The competition increases at every stage and soon it becomes quite challenging. There are three different weather conditions (cloudy, rainy and fine) and you can fish three times a day (morning, noon and evening). The environments look great and the fishermen look so real! There are also several areas to fish. Each area has different water temperature, depth, number of fishes and size. Then there are other creatures dotting the surroundings.

You can play either as a male or female fisherman. The in-game instructions give a lot of important tips regarding the selection of lure, casting points, where to move your rod and also warn you in case there is line tension. There are about fourteen lures that you will receive as the game progresses. Each lure has different property and is effective at different depths. The interface is great, the in-game menus and HUD is impressive. It always shows your line distance, time remaining and fish weights within a glance and you can always adjust options like time and difficulty.

The main disadvantage with Sega bass fishing is that you can’t fish anything other than bass. The casts are perfect and the chances of your line getting entangled anywhere is next to impossible. Like any other game it may turn boring after you have mastered all the lures and won many tournaments. If you have many other games and only one VMU then saving the game may take up a lot of memory. Sometimes the music playing in the background can get a little squeaky. There is also lack of variety. However the experience is really nice for those who are not looking for anything too mysterious but just want to have some good time.
